About Me

I am a London-based author drawn to stories that don't fit neatly into one box. I write fiction that mixes genre, tone, and culture without apology. I guess I am a bit of a genre bender.

My work spans political thriller, speculative YA, science fiction and adventure. What ties them together is a belief that the best stories hold a mirror to ourselves, our absurdities, and a stubborn will to better ourselves, while serving as a gateway to infinite dreams.

When I am not writing, I am thinking about the intricacies of life in relation to the universe. The grand scheme of which makes the world we inhabit infinitesimally minuscule, and yet incredibly wondrous. A source of inspiration that has spawned and fueled the creation of a thousand variations in our imagination. When I wake up in the morning, I ask myself: which kind of world am I going to build today? How does this world help us understand our condition in an entertaining way, and most importantly, how does any gained insight help to move us forward? The possibilities are endless.

I write by telling myself the story I want to hear. The ones I couldn't find elsewhere and the ones that feel slightly dangerous to pick up.
